Using the Admin on Mobile
Mobile Support in the Admin Panel
The Cartly admin panel (updated in v1.16) is fully responsive down to 375px wide. You can manage orders, update products, and check analytics from your phone without a dedicated app.
Navigation on Mobile
On small screens, the left sidebar is replaced with a bottom navigation drawer. Tap the menu icon in the top bar to open the full navigation. The bottom bar shows shortcuts to the most-used sections: Orders, Products, and Analytics.
The top bar collapses to show just the page title and key actions. Search and notification icons remain accessible at all times.
What Works Well on Mobile
- Orders — view, filter, and fulfil orders. Mark as paid, add tracking numbers, and print packing slips.
- Products — view your catalogue, update prices, and toggle availability.
- Customers — look up customer profiles and order history.
- Analytics — check your conversion funnel and revenue at a glance.
- Notifications — new order alerts and low-stock warnings.
What Works Better on Desktop
- Theme code editor — editing Liquid code on a small screen is possible but not recommended.
- Visual editor — drag-and-drop section reordering works on mobile but is more precise with a mouse.
- Bulk imports — CSV upload and review is easier on a larger screen.
Dark Mode
The admin defaults to dark mode. To switch to light mode, tap your account avatar in the top bar and select Light mode. Your preference is saved and remembered across sessions and devices.
Safe Area Support
The admin panel respects the safe area on notched and Dynamic Island devices — content is never hidden behind the status bar or home indicator.
