Admin Panel Tour

Navigating the Admin Panel

The Cartly admin panel is your command center for managing every aspect of your online store. Here is a quick tour of the main sections.

Dashboard

The dashboard gives you an at-a-glance overview of your store's performance. You will see today's revenue, order count, top products, and recent activity. Key metrics update in real time as orders come in.

Sidebar Navigation

The left sidebar provides quick access to all admin sections:

  • Orders — View, filter, and manage all orders. Create manual orders for phone or in-person sales.
  • Products — Add, edit, and organize your product catalog. Manage variants, inventory, and media.
  • Collections — Group products into collections for easy browsing on your storefront.
  • Customers — View customer profiles, order history, and manage customer groups.
  • Discounts — Create percentage, fixed-amount, or free-shipping discounts with conditions and limits.
  • Online Store — Customize your theme, edit pages, manage navigation menus, and configure blog posts.
  • Apps — Browse and install apps from the Cartly marketplace.
  • Settings — General settings, shipping, payments, team members, and billing.

Command Palette

Press Ctrl+K (or Cmd+K on Mac) anywhere in the admin panel to open the command palette. This is the fastest way to navigate — type to search for products, orders, customers, or jump to any settings page. You can also use it to quickly create new products or orders.

Quick Actions

Throughout the admin panel, you will find contextual action buttons. On the Orders page, for example, you can bulk-select orders to fulfill, print packing slips, or export to CSV. On the Products page, you can bulk-edit prices, inventory, or publish status.

Activity Feed

The activity feed, accessible from the dashboard, shows a chronological log of all admin actions. Every product edit, order status change, and settings update is recorded in the audit log with the team member who made the change.

Responsive Design

The admin panel is fully responsive. You can manage your store from a tablet or phone when you are away from your desk. The sidebar collapses into a hamburger menu on smaller screens.
