Store Settings
General settings control your store's basic information and global configuration options.
Store Details
Navigate to Settings ā General to configure your store's core information:
- Store name ā Displayed in the header, emails, and browser tab. Keep it short and recognizable.
- Store email ā The primary contact email. Used as the "from" address for transactional emails and displayed on your contact page.
- Store phone ā Optional contact phone number displayed on your storefront.
- Store description ā A brief description used in meta tags and social sharing.
Business Address
Your business address is used for:
- Shipping rate calculations (as the origin address)
- Tax determination
- Invoice and packing slip generation
- Legal compliance (displayed in emails and legal pages)
Fill in all address fields: street address, city, state/province, postal code, and country.
Standards and Formats
Configure regional settings:
- Currency ā Your store's base currency. Set during creation and cannot be changed after orders are placed.
- Timezone ā Used for order timestamps, reports, and scheduled tasks. Set to your business location's timezone.
- Weight unit ā Kilograms (kg) or pounds (lb). Used for product weights and shipping calculations.
Legal Pages
Cartly allows you to configure essential legal pages:
- Privacy Policy ā Required by law in most jurisdictions
- Terms of Service ā Your store's terms and conditions
- Refund Policy ā Your return and refund rules
- Shipping Policy ā Delivery times, costs, and regions
These pages are linked in your store's footer and referenced during checkout.
Social Media
Add your social media profile URLs (Instagram, Facebook, Twitter/X, TikTok, YouTube). These are displayed as icons in your store's footer and used for Open Graph meta tags when your pages are shared on social media.
Favicon
Upload a favicon (32x32 or 16x16 PNG) that appears in the browser tab next to your store name. A recognizable favicon helps customers identify your store among their open tabs.
