Managing Inventory Locations
What are Inventory Locations?
Inventory Locations let you track stock separately for each warehouse, retail store, or fulfillment center. Instead of a single inventory number per product, you can see exactly how much stock is available at each location.
Adding a Location
- Go to Settings → Inventory Locations
- Click Add Location
- Enter a name, address, and optionally set it as your default location
- Click Create Location
Viewing Stock per Location
Click the ↓ button on any location card to expand the inventory levels table showing available and reserved quantities per SKU.
Transferring Stock
Click the ⇄ button on a location card to open the Transfer modal. Enter the variant ID, source and destination locations, and quantity to move.
Fulfillment
When you fulfill an order with multiple active locations, a location picker appears in the fulfillment dialog so you can choose which warehouse ships the order.
Deleting a Location
A location can only be deleted when all inventory levels at that location are zero. Zero out stock first, then delete.
