Selling on eBay

The eBay sales channel publishes your Cartly catalog to eBay, keeps stock in sync between the two, imports eBay orders into Cartly, and pushes tracking numbers back to eBay when you fulfill.

Connecting your account

Go to Admin → Integrations → eBay and connect your eBay seller account. Choose the eBay marketplace you sell on, then set your fulfillment, payment, and return business policies and your merchant location — eBay requires these on every listing.

Choosing what to sell

Not every product in your catalog has to go to eBay. Scope which products are eligible by collection, by tag, or leave both empty to publish your entire active catalog. Only active products in scope are published.

Currency

eBay lists in the marketplace's own currency. Your shop's currency must match the eBay marketplace you choose — Cartly checks this before publishing and blocks the run rather than listing prices in the wrong currency.

Publishing and stock sync

Publish your scoped products to create eBay listings from your saved policies and location. After that, stock levels are kept in sync automatically in both directions, so a sale on eBay or in Cartly is reflected on the other side without any manual stock adjustment.

Importing eBay orders

Orders placed on eBay are imported into Cartly automatically and appear alongside your other orders. Cartly never skips over an order that fails to import — it retries automatically until it succeeds, so nothing gets lost.

Fulfillment and tracking

When you fulfill an order that came from eBay, its tracking number and carrier are pushed back to eBay automatically — buyers see tracking on eBay without you doing anything extra.
