Collections

Organizing Products into Collections

Collections let you group products for easier browsing. Use them to create category pages, seasonal selections, sale sections, and curated product lists.

Creating a Collection

Navigate to Collections in the sidebar and click Create Collection. Fill in the following:

  • Title — The collection name displayed on your storefront (e.g., "Summer Sale", "New Arrivals").
  • Description — A rich text description shown at the top of the collection page. Useful for SEO and providing context to customers.
  • Slug — The URL path for the collection page, auto-generated from the title.
  • Image — A featured image for the collection, shown on collection listing pages.

Adding Products to a Collection

On the collection edit page, use the product picker to add products. Search by title, type, or tag to find products quickly. Products can belong to multiple collections — adding a product to "Summer Sale" does not remove it from "T-Shirts".

Collection Display

Collections appear on your storefront at /collections/your-collection-slug. The collection page shows all associated products in a grid layout with pagination. Customers can use the collection page as a starting point for browsing related items.

Sorting Products Within a Collection

Products within a collection can be sorted by:

  • Manual order (drag and drop)
  • Best selling
  • Price (low to high, high to low)
  • Date added (newest first, oldest first)
  • Title (A-Z, Z-A)

The default sort order is manual, allowing you to curate the exact product order your customers see.

SEO for Collections

Each collection has its own meta title and description fields. If left blank, the collection title and description are used. Collection pages are automatically included in your sitemap for search engine discovery.

Using Collections in Navigation

Add collections to your navigation menus to create category-based browsing. Go to Online Store → Navigation to add collection links to your header or footer menus.
