This release gives your B2B customers a single company login, gives you a faster way to build and manage product variants, lets shoppers personalize their cart, and adds a new storefront theme built for skincare and beauty brands.
Business single sign-on for your B2B customers
Business customers can now sign in to your storefront through your own company identity provider using OpenID Connect (OIDC) — one login for the whole team, managed by you instead of by each individual buyer. Configure it per company from Admin → Companies → the company → SSO tab: paste in your OIDC issuer URL, Client ID, and Client Secret, then turn it on. A Sign in with SSO option now appears on the storefront login of every theme, and buyers of that company sign in with their Company ID.
See Single sign-on for business customers for the full setup walkthrough, including the callback URL to add to your identity provider.
Build variants faster with the new Options Builder
The product variant editor got a systemic speed-up. Bulk-edit price and apply an SKU prefix across every variant at once, drag to reorder options and values, and rename a value in place — the variant keeps its id, price, SKU, and inventory instead of being recreated from scratch. Each variant also gets its own image column, and an optional ASCII-only SKU toggle keeps autogenerated SKUs scanner- and barcode-friendly.
See Building product variants for a full tour of the new editor.
Personalize the cart with custom fields and free samples
Shoppers can now add personal touches at the cart — a gift note, an engraving instruction, or any custom field your theme collects — and choose from free samples you offer. Both are carried straight onto the order, so your team has everything it needs when preparing and packing.
See Personalizing the cart and free samples for details.
Introducing Balm, a new theme for skincare & beauty
Balm is a warm, apothecary-style storefront theme purpose-built for skincare and beauty brands. It comes with a ritual builder for step-by-step routines, ingredient and actives tables, refill support, and a journal section for editorial content. Install it from the Balm theme page in the Theme Store, or browse all available themes.
Getting started
Business SSO is configured per company from Admin → Companies. The new variant editor and cart personalization are already live on your product and cart pages — no setup required. Balm is available now in the Theme Store.
