AI credits in your plan
What AI Credits Are
Cartly Command and the AI work it does for you run on AI credits. Your plan includes a number of credits each month, and every AI request uses some of them, according to how much work it took.
Credits per Plan
- Starter: 200 credits a month
- Growth: 500 credits a month
- Pro: 2,000 credits a month
- Enterprise: 7,000 credits a month
A free trial includes the credits of its plan. Compare plans on the pricing page or with Compare all plans in Billing. Credits renew at the start of each calendar month (UTC), and unused credits do not carry over.
What Uses Credits
- Cartly Command: each request to the assistant, including questions and the content it writes for you.
- Theme changes by Cartly Command: the task card shows an estimate before you run it. Cartly sets that amount aside while the task runs, charges only what the task actually used, and returns the rest to your balance. If you stop a task, or it cannot finish, you pay only for the steps already done. See Editing your theme with Cartly Command.
AI translations are counted separately and do not use AI credits; see AI translations.
Seeing Your Balance
- In Billing, the AI credits bar shows how much you have used this month and the date your credits renew.
- In Cartly Command, the share of credits you have left is shown in the panel.
When Credits Run Out
Command tells you that this month's credits are used up, shows the date they renew and offers Upgrade plan. A theme task that needs more credits than you have left does not start, and nothing is charged for it. Everything else in your store keeps working as usual.
A store without an active paid plan or trial has no AI credits; Command then says that the AI assistant requires a paid plan.
