What Is Social Login?

Social login lets you sign in to your Cartly admin panel using an existing Google or GitHub account. Instead of typing your email and password, you click "Continue with Google" or "Continue with GitHub" on the login page and are taken through that provider's own sign-in flow.

Requirements

• You must already have a Cartly account. Social login links to an existing account — it does not create a new one.
• The email address on your Google or GitHub account must match the email address registered on your Cartly account.
• Your account must not have two-factor authentication (2FA / TOTP) enabled. If 2FA is active, continue signing in with your email and password.
• The platform operator must have enabled the relevant provider at Platform → Settings → Auth Providers. If the buttons do not appear on the login page, social login has not been enabled for your platform.

How to Sign In with Google

1. Go to your admin login page (e.g. yourstore.mycartly.pro/admin/login).
2. Click Continue with Google.
3. You are redirected to Google's sign-in page. Select or sign in to the Google account whose email matches your Cartly account.
4. After Google confirms your identity, you are returned to your admin panel and signed in.

How to Sign In with GitHub

1. Go to your admin login page.
2. Click Continue with GitHub.
3. You are redirected to GitHub. If you are already signed in to GitHub in your browser, you may be taken directly back without re-entering credentials.
4. If prompted, confirm that you want Cartly to verify your email. After GitHub confirms your identity, you are returned to your admin panel and signed in.

What Happens If My Email Does Not Match?

If the email associated with your Google or GitHub account does not match any Cartly account, you are redirected to the registration page instead of being signed in. Create a new Cartly account with that email address, or contact the platform to update the email on your existing account.

Troubleshooting

• The Google / GitHub buttons do not appear — social login has not been configured for your platform. Contact your platform operator.
• Redirected to registration even though I have an account — the email on your Google / GitHub account does not match your Cartly account email. Check both emails and use the matching one.
• I have 2FA enabled — can I use social login? — Not yet. Sign in with email and password as usual. Social login is not available for accounts with two-factor authentication active.
