Live Shipping Rates & Labels

Overview

ShipEngine and Shippo are native shipping connectors that quote real, up-to-the-minute rates from multiple carriers at checkout and let you buy and void shipping labels straight from the order page.

Connecting a Carrier Connector

1. Go to the App Store and install ShipEngine or Shippo
2. Open Admin → Integrations and connect your carrier accounts

Live Rates at Checkout

Once connected, live rates from your carriers appear as shipping options at checkout. Shoppers choose the speed and price that suits them, instead of a single flat rate you set by hand.

Buying and Voiding Labels

1. Open an order and go to the fulfillment section
2. Choose a rate and click Buy label
3. The tracking number and carrier are written back to the order automatically

If you buy a label by mistake, Void label is available from the same section, subject to the carrier's own void window.
